A while back, Tommy made an impromptu purchase of a little fishing boat. Last weekend it made its maiden voyage with our family.
Tommy found a wonderful place up North to take it out at. It was a gorgeous view and gorgeous weather.
The maiden voyage lasted about 10 minute as Tessa HATED it and cried the whole time saying, “Off boat! Off boat!” In her defense, Tommy did rock it quite a bit getting in and it scared her.
Luckily some friends of our just happen to be going fishing in the area as well and met up with us, so Tommy got to ride around a little longer on the boat with James while I sat on the “shore” with Tessa, Erin, and Logan/Libby (their kids actually LIKED the boat and took turns going for a ride).
Since their wasn’t much of a shore there, we packed it up and found a little fishing hole with more of a kid-friendly area where the kids could play and the men could fish.
Both guy caught some fish, which was fun for the kids, except when Tommy tried to make Tessa hold it.
All in all, a fun day!
