Our family had the pleasure of spending Christmas in Iowa with my family this year. We have gone there for Thanksgiving the last two years, so it was nice to have some snow and enjoy the holiday in the Midwest. Tessa was very excited to go on the airplane to “I-A-Uh” and was also very excited to see the snow. She loves to fly, and the only time she got crabby on the plane was after we landed and she saw snow out the window then taxied to our gate and she could no longer see it.
So while we were there, we of course had to experience the snow. It was cold, so it' wasn’t great for making snowmen, but we did sled, make snow angels, make “tracks” in the snow, and make a reaaaallly tiny snowman.
Tommy left again on Christmas Eve, so we celebrated our family Christmas a few days early. We all received some wonderful gifts, and Tessa enjoyed getting even more presents as well as helping everyone else open theirs.
Tessa’s favorite present by far was the pink tent Grandpa and Grandma gave to her. She loved it so much that it has been sitting in our living room since we got home and she still plays in it every day!
We had a great trip and enjoyed seeing extended family and friends, relaxing, and having other people around to play with Tessa=). Here are a few more pics:
