Van Hofwegen Family Christmas/New Years

December 31st 2011 – January 8th 2012 was the Van Hofwegen family get together here in Phoenix.  It was fun to have all of Tommy’s family together, and like always, we had a blast.  But the idea of writing a blog about it in detail is kind of daunting, so I am just going to give you pictures with captions=).
We all celebrated Christmas on New Year’s Eve together at Gary and Irene’s house. Hannah and Kayla, Tessa’s cousins did a great job of helping her open her presents.

The Petting Zoo!  Hannah helped Tessa warm up to the animals.  Too cute!



Lots of games..including the 2nd annual In-Laws vs. Out-Laws Competition, which included pickleball, volleyball, corn hole, and Rook.  Out-Laws (which are actually the in-laws) won for the 2nd year in a row.

The boys went snowboarding for a day and the girls went for manicures and shopping on a different day. All in all, a really fun va/stay-cation!
