A few weeks ago Tommy, Tessa and I went camping at Woods Canyon. I was very apprehensive about staying in a tent overnight with Tessa, but some friends asked us to go, so we figured it was as good of time as any to give it a try.
It was a beautiful place to go and the weather was great. Our friends James and Erin and kids came up with us for the day as the friends we were camping with, Bret and Laura, weren’t coming up until mid afternoon. Our campground was right by the lake, so Tommy took his fishing boat and fishing gear. Much to our surprise, Tessa enjoyed the boat this time, and wanted to fish like daddy.
Here are some pics:

In the tent (which Tessa LOVED and played in as much as she did jumping on the air mattress):
Tessa did really well actually. She didn’t take a nap and loved the tent so much that she went to bed really well. She woke up once while we were sleeping and put her in bed with us, which of course meant that I slept horribly, but she slept good the rest of the night.
